Taurasi Reserve Docg
Taurasi Reserve Docg
Taurasi Riserva is made from grapes from the Calore Interno vineyard, harvested by hand between late October and early November. They follow a classic red vinification with maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature. The resulting wine ages for 18 months in large 10 hl barrels and subsequently in steel and bottle. In the glass the wine appears bright ruby red. The nose is complex with notes of undergrowth, blood orange, morello cherry, tobacco, balsamic and spicy hints. The sip is full and fresh, with elegant tannins and a persuasive finish. Perfect with roast lamb, stewed game and mature cheeses.
